The Universal Law of Receiving
The law of receiving states in order to receive, you must first give.In order for the law of attraction to give you the success you’ve been asking for, you must first give. It is the Yin and Yang of the Universe. Money has its own energy properties just like everything else; its energy flows.
Think about it for a moment. In one day, a dollar bill can start off crumbled in your pocket, travel to the deli down the street to pay for your morning coffee, from the cash register at the deli to a lady being handed her change for a sandwich, into the ladies purse, off to the newspaper man where she buys her daily paper, and from the newspaper man to the homeless man on the street who comes begging, so that he can buy some bread.
Can you feel the flow of money? Can you feel the energy flow and that as soon as you let go and give, you will receive? It is also important to understand that a dollar can be just as powerful in someone life as $10,000. Look at the example above.
You can also give through many avenues such as giving of your time, your knowledge, used items, etc. Start small and see what a difference you can make in someone elses life. Give more to receive more; it really can be that simple. Watch how the law of attraction will begin to take over.
It becomes fun and you can even make it like a game. Look for opportunities to give. It can be so simple as to smile at someone, pick up something they drop, hold a door, etc. It can really make people feel good, and what it will do for you in the long term is 10 fold.
Did you know that another human need is contribution? We need to feel that we are giving and contributing. Once you start, you will find it incredibly fulfilling, as it is actually fulfilling one of your basic needs!
Did you know that when the original Betty Crocker instant bake recipes came out, they didn’t sell at all, and the reason was women felt guilty that it was too easy and that they were not contributing by making the batter, mixing, etc. So they changed it so that you had to add an egg, and then it sold like hotcakes (no pun intended)!
Make giving a habit, and before you know it, receiving will come to you naturally.
Sowing and Reaping
Sowing means planting “seeds” of giving. Just like real plants and harvests, you plant the seeds and allow time for germination.
Reaping means collecting the fruits of your labor. Once the crop has grown, you can enjoy the rewards. Think about how a farmer must put clean soil, fertilization, compost, sun and water to make a good crop. The same with sowing seeds of service. The more grace, giving, and gratitude you put into your life and the way you give to others, the better you will reap the benefits in many ways in the universe.
The more you look for opportunities to serve and give, the more you will reap. What a rewarding life you have to look forward to!
Sow the best service of which you are capable, sow into people’s lives, and love everyone unconditionally.
The law of giving and receiving is a universal law, just like gravity. It must be. If you are already wondering, what if this doesn’t work? Don’t fear! It has to! When you throw a ball up in the air does it come down?
As long as you are extending your service and adding “water”, “fertilizer”, and “tilling the land” so to speak, you’re life will be rewarded.
Luck is for people who let life happen to them. Sometimes you can get lucky, sometimes you do not. You know the expression, “their luck ran out?” It’s just that simple, because with luck only, they had no control over what was going to happen.
Give In Abundance
With this universal law, you have control! How exciting! Instead of letting life happen to you, you decide your life. You give, and you receive. You sow, and you reap. Give an abundance of yourself to receive abundance.
If you give life your best, life will give you the best. Take the bull by the horns and make a decision to decide, not take a ride. When you take a ride, you do not know which your stop is. When you decide, you reap all the outstanding benefits this wonderful universe has to offer.
The first way to start is do all tasks in a great way. Don’t slumber through life. Show your energy and give service with energy. Constantly improve yourself each day. This can be done in many ways. Remember when you are at your best, you can give your best. Remember also that this is one of your basic needs.
What Do You Have To Give?
You don’t need any money to begin giving abundance, there are many avenues and money is just one of them. As I mentioned above you can give of your time, services, knowledge, etc.
The good can take a while, but it will return.
Stay focused on giving and serving. You will start to notice the true joy it gives you, and the wonderful impact you are making in others lives. This is what is meant when it is said that true joy comes from within, and it is NOT obtained by buying things and having cool “stuff”. It is obtained by the pleasure of giving from the heart.
The law of attraction WILL work and the good will come to you. It may not always come quickly or in the form that you are looking for, but it will come. Start to try and pay attention to ALL of the good that comes your way; someone buys you a cup of coffee, someone opens a door for you, and someone smiles or genuinely asks how you are. Same as the money flows in this respect, you will notice how the good starts coming back to you.
